  3. A login form will appear on the screen.
  4. Enter your Username or Barcode and Password in the login form.
  5. Click the Log In button to access your Library account.

What if you don’t have a library card?

You may get a new Library card by following a simple process. Please note that if you are a resident of California state then you may be eligible for a free library card.

The first step is to fill out an online Application. You may visit the Online application web page and fill out the application form. After that take a print-out of the filled application form and visit the SFPL location. Please share your valid government-issued photo ID proof during your in-person visit and get your Library card on the same visit. 

How to reset the password?

If somehow a user forgets the SFPL Library account password then please follow the below steps to create a new password.

  1. Visit the SFPL Password reset page.
  2. Enter your Barcode number and click the Send button.
  3. An email will be sent to the registered email address including the instructions to reset your password.
  4. Click the password reset link in the email and create a new password.
