If you don’t have an account then simply create an online account.

How to get a new DC Library Card?

If you are a new member and need a new library card then you can do so by submitting an online application through the official website.

  • Fill out the online form and submit your application.

After submitting the online application initially the user will get a temporary library card number and PIN through an email including other information about your library account. Login to your account set up your profile and create a new PIN.

Please note that this is just a temporary card number which is valid for 90 days only. You will have to get a permanent library card by visiting any library location and sharing a government-issued identity proof.
