DC Public Library DCPL Login

If you are a registered member and want to access your DC Library account then simply visit the official website and login by using your login credentials.

If you don’t have an account then simply create an online account.

To access your account, you need a few essential information such as an online registered account and your login credentials, a secure device and a secure and updated web browser installed on the website, a properly working internet connection, and a correct web URL of the DC Public Library login page.

  4. Enter your Library Card Number: and PIN.

How to get a new DC Library Card?

If you are a new member and need a new library card then you can do so by submitting an online application through the official website.

  • Visit the DC Library login page and click the Get a Library Card link OR
  • Visit the direct application link at www.dclibrary.org/get-a-card
  • Fill out the online form and submit your application.

After submitting the online application initially the user will get a temporary library card number and PIN through an email including other information about your library account. Login to your account set up your profile and create a new PIN.

Please note that this is just a temporary card number which is valid for 90 days only. You will have to get a permanent library card by visiting any library location and sharing a government-issued identity proof.
